Hey there! I’m Hyla.

I make things on the internet, generally involving videos and code.

For me, it’s more than just making things

I try to put my personal touch, upbringing and current journey to whatever I make. From being Aussie-born from Filipino parents, to being proud as an Autistic, non-binary & aroace person, and exploring what else life has in store for me, I’m ready to take whatever the world throws at me.

Having grown up with technology around me has gained my current interests in programming and media, for which I currently study Software Engineering and stream myself playing games on Twitch whenever I can find the time. Of course, there’s friends I’ve met along the way who also keep me in check.

I’m still evolving and getting to know myself better. There have been desperate times where my selflessness has gotten the better of me, but there are exciting times where I let my impulsive curiosity jump into new experiences that I thought I’d never have.

And I want to bring you along those times with me!

Meet my new Octosona self-insert! They're designed by a friend of mine and based off my Splatsona. It's a new experience to dive in head-first into the furry world, but I'm excited to explore!

I definitely would consider myself as the odd one out, especially given my combined neurodiversity, gender identity and racial profile - but I’m proud to be a person who can accomplish things that could help others. I come up with big ideas, especially those that could help move the world towards a better place… although, admittedly without any way to accomplish them due to my status as an undergrad student who only has a part-time job!

Nonetheless, I continue to have my future in sight on what I want to accomplish. For now, I just do what I like doing the most: making things on the internet, and procrastinating with my friends on Discord when I’ve got the free time. ^u^
